Assam is the gateway of North-East and allows you to explore the beautiful landscape. Assam is famous for its Tea garden and Wildlife sanctuary. Apart from this, the largest river island is Majuli is the world-famous destination. Mājuli island is accessible by ferries from the city of Jorhat. The island is about 300–400 kilometers (186–249 mi) east from the state’s largest city —Guwahati. It was formed due to course changes by the river Brahmaputra and its tributaries, mainly the Lohit. Mājuli is the abode of the Assamese neo-Vaishnavite cultureRiver Brahmaputra is the lifeline of Assam. Cultural Pilgrim like Kamakhya and Dol-Govinda also attract tourist from all around.
Upon your arrival at Guwahati airport, Our Tour representative will meet and assist in transfer to the hotel. Guwahati is the capital of Assam and gateway to the Northeast. Enjoy the beautiful evening in Guwahati.
After Morning breakfast, we will go for sightseeing of famous Sidha-Pith Kamakhaya temple. Later Balaji temple, Umananda temple. In the evening you will see the Brahmaputra River and visit the local market. Back to the hotel. Have your Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.
After breakfast in the morning, we will proceed towards the Kaziranga National Park, the homeland of the Great India one horn Rhinoceros. Check-in to your hotel. The evening is free at leisure. An overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Today, early in the morning enjoy the Elephant ride at Kaziranga National Park. The actual attraction of Kaziranga National Park is a broad diversity of wildlife beauty. The chief riches trove of Kaziranga is vast one-horned Rhinoceros, but it is also a house to other species of flora & Fauna for instance elephants, wild Asiatic water buffalos, swamp deer, hog deer, gaur, sambar, Indian Mautjac & many more. Kaziranga is also famous as a significant Bird watching point. Later, return back to the resort for breakfast. Thereafter, we will proceed for a Jeep Safari through the National Park. The evening is free at leisure for shopping. An overnight stay will be at Kaziranga.
After breakfast proceeds to Assam’s most famous historical place of Ahom Kingdom birthplace Sivasagar (169 km -Travel time around 3 hrs), en-route sightseeing Rang Ghar, Kareng Ghar, Talatal Ghar, Joysagar Tank. Check-in hotel, overnight stay in the hotel.
After breakfast proceeds to the world’s largest river island Majuli (84 km – Travel time around 2 hrs), connect to the nearest ferry point Nimati Ghat. Check-in hotel, overnight stay in Majuli.
After breakfast proceeds to visit Assamese’s famous Garmur Sattra, The Auniati Satra which was established in Majuli in 1653 A.D, visit Kamalabari Satra, meet local people in Majuli Mishing villages. Overnight stay in the hotel.
After breakfast proceeds to explore Assam’s beautiful tea garden in Jorhat Town and visit Science Center & Planetarium, visit Raja Maidam and Gymkhana Club situated in Jorhat Town 4 km distance, the club was built 1876 by D. Slimmon, the club has served for horse races. Overnight stay in the hotel.
After breakfast proceeds to Guwahati (328 km – Travel time around 6 hrs), direct check-in hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.
