Day 1
Guwahati Arrival – Shillong (Approx. 100 km | 3 Hours)
Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, meet our representative and drive to Shillong, the beautiful capital of Meghalaya. En route, visit the picturesque Umiam Lake (Barapani), a perfect spot for photography and relaxation. After reaching Shillong, check in to your hotel. In the evening, explore Police Bazaar, one of the city's most popular shopping and food destinations. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 2
Shillong – Cherrapunji Sightseeing – Shillong (Approx. 120 km | Full Day)
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth. Visit the stunning Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls, Eco Park, and Arwah Cave. Enjoy the breathtaking views of deep valleys and lush green hills before returning to Shillong in the evening. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 3
Shillong – Dawki – Mawlynnong – Shillong (Approx. 180 km | Full Day)
After breakfast, head towards Dawki, famous for the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River, where you can enjoy an optional boat ride. Later, visit Mawlynnong, known as the "Cleanest Village in Asia." Explore the Living Root Bridge, Bamboo Sky Walk, and the peaceful village surroundings before returning to Shillong. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 4
Shillong – Kaziranga National Park (Approx. 250 km | 5–6 Hours)
After breakfast, check out and drive to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its one-horned rhinoceros. Upon arrival, check in to your resort. In the afternoon, enjoy an optional Jeep Safari (subject to availability and park timings) to spot rhinos, elephants, wild buffalo, deer, and a variety of bird species. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Day 5
Kaziranga – Guwahati Departure (Approx. 220 km | 5 Hours)
Early morning, you may opt for an Elephant Safari (subject to availability and forest department regulations). After breakfast, drive back to Guwahati. En route, if time permits, visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple before being dropped at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of your Meghalaya Assam Tour.
