Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim and gateways of high altitude hill stations like Pelling-. Sikkim shares an international border with China, Bhutan, and Nepal. To experience a new culture and tradition, you need to spend at least a week to understand local people. Sikkim can be reached by Air/Rail/Road. The nearest airport is Bagdogra which is 110 km from its capital Gangtok. The nearest railway station is NJP.
On arrival welcome by our representative. They will assist and drive to Gangtok (135 km/ 4 hr). Gangtok the capital of Sikkim Suits all from tranquility to adventure, land of monastery, mystic rituals & festivals at a height of 1670 meters / 5480 feet and is the most visited spot of India – It is one of the most beautiful towns with varieties of Rhododendron, Orchids, and butterflies. Check into the hotel. Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center – Over Night stay at Gangtok.
This morning we start for a half-day trip of Gangtok city covering Ranka Monastery, Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sunday), Dro-Dul-Chorten, Flower Exhibition center, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom. Evening free for personal activities. Overnight at Gangtok.
Gangtok-Ravangla (4 hr 30 min drive) Enroute visit Temi tea garden & Monasteries at Ralang. Overnight stay at Ravangla.
After breakfast transfer to Pelling, onward journey (2 ½ hrs) Evening free for personal activities. Overnight stay at Pelling.
After breakfast start for sightseeing. 1st Half tour – Darap village, Khangchendzonga water falls Sewaro Rock Garden, Rimbi water Falls & Khachoedpalri Lake. In the afternoon start for 2nd Half tour – Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, New Helipad Ground. Overnight stay will be at Pelling.
Morning free for packing & personal activities. Check out from hotel in time and take the departure transfer to NJP railway station / IXB airport, for your onward journey.
