Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim and gateways of high altitude hill stations like Pelling, Gangtok. Sikkim shares an international border with China, Bhutan, and Nepal. To experience a new culture and tradition, you need to spend at least a week to understand local people. Sikkim can be reached by Air/Rail/Road. The nearest airport is Bagdogra which is 110kms from its capital Gangtok. The nearest railway station is NJP.

Itinerary

Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP station / IXB airport & transfer to Gangtok – “The Capital City of Sikkim”. On arrival check-in to your hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay will be at Gangtok.

Start for a full day trip of Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial (13200 ft) 52 km from Gangtok city. Tsomgo Lake freezes completely during the winter and is much revered by the locals. Overnight stay will be at Gangtok.

This morning start for a half-day trip of Gangtok city covering 7 points includes Rumtek Monastery, Shanti View Point, Botanical garden, Dro-dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and Handicraft Centre. After lunch drive to Pelling (6800 ft.) on the way visit Ravangla. One can enjoy the spectacular Eastern Himalayan Range from Pelling. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay will be at Pelling.

After breakfast start for sightseeing. 1st Half tour – Darap village, Khangchendzonga water falls, Sewaro Rock Garden, Rimbi water Falls & Khachoedpalri Lake. In the afternoon start for 2nd Half tour – Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, New Helipad Ground. Overnight stay will be at Pelling.

After breakfast check out from the hotel in time and take the departure transfer to NJP railway station / IXB airport for your onward journey.
