By Air:
The capital of Arunachal Pradesh is Itanagar which is especially famous for its rich culture and amazing archeological sites. If you are planning to reach Arunachal by air then you can use Lilabari airport in North Lakhimpu. This is the nearest airport to the iItanagar.Lilabari airport receives regional Air India flights from Kolkata and Guwahati.
By Train:
The nearest railways to the capital are Harmuti railway station (Assam) and Naharlagun railway station in Arunachal Pradesh. Each of the stations is 34 and 15 kilometers far from Itanagar.
Naharlagun railway station is the latest addition to the Indian railway and has two trains running to and from like New Delhi – Naharlagun AC SF Express and Naharlagun – Guwahati Inter City Express.
By Road:
You can reach the capital city that is Itanagar by using bus services from Banderdewa, North Lakhimpur, Tezpur, and Guwahati.
The Banderdewa bus uses the national highway 415, Tezpur bus uses the route of national highway 15, 415. Guwahati bus will take you to Itanagar using the national highway 15, 415.
You can avail any prepaid taxis from the airport or the railway station. ASTC bus service is also available from Banderdewa, Guwahati and Tezpur.

After breakfast, Check out from the hotel and drive to Dirang which is 140kms / 5hrs. En route Visit Orchid farm, Dirang Dzong, Dirang is a beautiful Village town situated near west kameng river. Dirang valley is most attracting places in Arunachal who is looking for peaceful and quality time. Here you will find Kiwi Gardens and Apple farms. The Kalachakra Monastery in Dirang is a 500-year-old monastery and is a must visit. There are also the ruins of a fort called Dirang Dzong, and a hot water spring on the bank river kameng. After arrival check into the hotel and take rest for today. Overnight at Dirang.
After breakfast, Check out from the hotel and Visit some view points then drive to Tawang ( 135 kms/ 4 hrs). Drive passing through typical Monpa village at Dirang. After viewing the beautiful valley of Dirang overlooking the river and inhabited by colourful tribals, proceed towards the Sela Pass (13703 ft) spend some lovely times by the paradise lake. You can enjoy tea and snack near sela-pass then we will drive to tawang. Overnight in Tawang.
After breakfast proceed to Bumla-pass (60Kms/7-8 Hrs). Which is an international border of India and china lies in Arunachal Pradesh.En route you will see so many natural lakes. After returning to Bumla pass you will visit famous lake called Madhuri lake. Then we will come to Tawang. Overnight at Tawang
Early morning, drive to Jang to get a breath taking view of waterfalls. Pay homage at the Jashwant Garh Indo Chinese War Memorial and down hill drive to Bomdila (180 Kms/ 6 Hrs) . The beautiful town of Bomdila in the West Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh is a pure delight for visitors. Bomdila is situated on the bank river kameng. Overnight stay at Bomdila.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed the journey to Guwahti ( 270 Kms/ 7 hrs ). En route Visit Bomdila Town, Bomdila Monastery and do some shopping. Drive passing through typical Monpa village at Dirang. You will also come across Tezpur city. Tezpur is beautiful city of northeast. Visit local market and town. Leave for. Evening, if time allows we will make a visit to the famed Kamakhya Temple and enjoy the boat ride in Brahmaputra River for visiting Umananda Temple situated in a small river island in Brahmaputra. Further drop to the railway station or airport for onward journey. Go home with sweet memories of Arunachal Pradesh.
